The Race Club Championships are open to all current Hemel Club Members. The competition consists of 2 timed runs through a slalom course and 2 timed runs through a Extended Slalom course aggregate of best run from slalom plus best run ES to count to determine Hemels male and female Champion Skiers 2021 in all senior groups. As the MINI Champs have already been run all U08, U10, and U12 placed 1 to 5 will be given an award but the overall placing from the previous MINI champs will stand and overall trophies will be awarded at these championships. All racers MUST wear a ski race helmet during racing and open practice, please enter online, available in August. Race entries closes on Monday 06 September 2021 or if full before. Numbers are restricted. It is very unlikely late entries will be accepted.

Please note, depending on entries the timetable may need to change, the likely outcome is the split between the U12s and U14+ age groups. Regardless, start time will be as stated, more details to follow.
Provisional Time table:
1330h. Arrive at HSC (Slope will be open to other users.)
1330h. Race office opens registration. (By S+R)
1400h. Open practice. (Slope closed to the public, Bibs MUST be worn so number is visible)
1430h. Course Setting. Both Courses Run 1
1445h. Course inspection. ALL
1510h. Course inspection ends. Open Practice Ends
1515h. Slalom competition 1st and 2nd run. See below for start order.
1645h. Course Setting Extended Slalom.
1700h. Extended Slalom competition 1st and 2nd run. See below for start order.
1815h.
1830h. Award ceremony (location tba).
Start order: Start order: To determine the start order all entries will be drawn by computer in age group categories. (U08/U10/U12, U14/U16/ U18 and U21/ SEN/ MAS). Males and females will race together but results calculated by gender. The U12/10/08 will compete through a stubby course or reduced full gates. Racers will race in bib order for Run 1/3 and reversed in the age groups for Run 2/4. Female and Male racers will race the same course twice. All entries and payment will be on line. Entry closes on Monday 06 September . A start list will be published and posted on the Internet and at the Ski Centre. The race is expected to be oversubscribed so it is recommended entries are submitted before the closing date. Entries will be taken on a first come basis.
Race Entry Fee: £20. 00 per racer, the Lodge bar will be open for ordering food and drinks.
LATE ENTRIES IF ACCEPTED: Late entry Fee: £25.00.
Awards: Medals and Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th in the U! group and 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the senior group, females separate from the males. Only current HSRC members can win the perpetual trophies.
